Your Role & Impact
As a Senior Tax Manager / Principal, you’ll play a key leadership role in delivering tax solutions and shaping the future of our firm. You will:
  • Take full responsibility for client engagements—from planning and execution to delivery and follow-up.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for assigned accounts, managing meetings, communication, and tax strategy alignment.
  • Review staff-prepared tax lookbacks, identify opportunities for tax savings, correct issues, and guide staff on best practices.
  • Oversee and review complex tax engagements from start to finish, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Provide expertise in specialized tax procedures (e.g., lookbacks, deferred taxes) to meet client goals.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as billing, time management, and internal committee participation.
  • Participate in networking events and client check-ins to maintain and grow relationships.
  • Train, mentor, and guide staff, providing technical and professional development support.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive culture aligned with firm policies and values.
  • Identify business development opportunities and represent the firm externally.
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives that improve client service and internal processes.
Your Skills & Experience
We’re looking for a collaborative, client-focused leader with:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • 7+ years of public accounting experience, with a focus on tax compliance and planning
  • Experience in the construction and real estate industries
  • Advanced proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystem, ProSystem fx) and planning tools
  • Demonstrated ability to review complex tax returns and navigate technical challenges
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team

  • Deep technical tax knowledge and advanced planning capabilities
  • Expertise in specialized tax procedures (e.g., lookbacks, deferred revenue, and 263A)
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
